Christina Applegate was born in California on November 12, 1966. As a child, she portrayed the role of Jenny in the popular 1970s television shows Little House on the Prairie, which also starred her mother, actress Rose Marie. She first came to prominence as Kim Kelly in the sitcom Married… with Children (1987-1997). In 1996, she won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the TV movie The Girl from Poughkeepsie.
